How Far (Unreleased)

  • Genre: Adventure, RPG
  • Dev Period: 2013-2014

Trivia

  • This was originally the end of the Reconstruction story. I scavenged the remains of the plot to create Eden's Last Sunrise, so this one is effectively dead.

  • The game started out as a point-and-click adventure with RPG elements (top picture), since I was still big into blending genres and confusing people in general.

  • The game briefly morphed into a more traditional RPG with adventure game elements (bottom picture), but that didn't get very far either.

An Earthly Inheritance

  • Genre: Zero-Player RPG
  • Released: 2016

Trivia

  • This was created in 3 days for a game jam involving a really old version of RPG Maker.

  • Since I am incapable of making things simple or predictable, this game essentially plays itself. Despite that, there are multiple endings!

  • Hopefully, this game has disappeared from the internet ether. So, I don't have a download link.

  • I should do more one-week-or-less mini-game bursts. But I probably won't.

Monstersona: Revelations

  • Genre: Dungeon Crawler RPG
  • Released: 2020

Trivia

  • This is a brief but complete RPG made in RPG Maker for the PlayStation 4. No, really. With a controller and everything.

  • You can play it on PS4 right now! Just download the (free) RPG Maker player, then search for Monstersona.

  • I streamed the entire gruelling dev process. It took about 25 hours in total to produce an hour of gameplay. Most of the characters and dialog were suggested by viewers.

  • Despite all this, I do like how it turned out. I built a semi-complicated system like the One More mechanic from latter-day Persona titles, complete with all-out attacks. I'd really like to live-dev another mini-RPG some time!

Hunt for the Golden Apple

  • Genre: Roguelite RPG
  • Released: 2012?

Trivia

  • I made this ages ago as a sort of test bed for making a roguelike-like game in RPG Maker. Hopefully, it's completely evaporated from the internet. See addendum below.

  • The entire game is also one big joke about discordianism.

  • I used a few ideas and tricks I picked up to eventually create The Drop.

  • 2023 Update! Holy moly! I found it on an old hard drive! That means you can download it for yourself!
